I remember reading somewhere on these threads about a newbie gamer guy with a Bad Moon army, he posted his Warboss from AOBR and if i recall correctly there was a Dakkaite (lolzman I 'dink) that was unsatisfied with the lack of converting. I decided i'd give it a shot and spent much of yesterday converting this guy.


Of course he isn't big enough to be considered a good Warboss, he's just a temporary Nob ta boss da Boyz around till I can get me 'ands on da DoW 2 Boss.

maybe im missing something. but did you add gun barrels and a weapon swap?

A warboss is not a warboss if he's got a choppa. Shootas are for Grots too.

Some ok good looking conversions, though can't see it all.
I like it that you have chosen some, not so traditional weapons. There are all too many warbosses out there with Power Klaw and Big Shoota and the likes.
It also goes great in with that you are planning to get a bigger and badder one later on.
This might be just be a Nob boss or something?

I plan to use him as a Nobz leader or Boss 'stand-in' as I said.
I gave him a considerably larger weapon and gun, with bionic eye implant, more trophies and am quite happy with how he turned out even if some people think "he's a grot" - nice. And it came with a shoota that i then bulked up; so i guess all Warbosses from AOBR are grots

I really like it. It's not another cookie-cutter Warboss but one that you've spent time on and the result is very Orky. Keep up the good work.

So then why are we debating wargear choices in a Painting and Modeling forum. Save that stuff for the tactical forums, it's a good conversion, so just say that. Don't put the conversion down 'just because it has a shoota.'

I think it looks really good! VERY orky, to lash a few extra gun barrels on, and also with the axe. I'm not familiar with the original model, so I don't know if you added the blade/armor onto the forearm holding the battleaxe... but that also looks really good

Nice Boss/nob. I have another AOBR boss that I want to give him a couple attack squigs.

The Arm guard/spike was from the Black Orc sprue and the Choppa hand was from one of the BR nobz.

Painted him last night.

dude how was i the one to make this your nob/warboss hut seriously he is a warboss the arm fits but now on charge he still has str 8 he is a substitute for a nob not a substitute for a warboss I like the red on the gun it shoots fasta har har har


edit* oh i see your first words well i wasn't really OK maybe i was disapointed but i have a bias against the model because everyone has him when i got my orks there was no way to convert himi so im making my guy and a big lava base just for more effect ill put a few skull around a banner im gonna put behind him in a rock.
