I've been playing so long with the same group of people that I've started forgetting which are "real" rules and which are just "house" rules that we've adopted a long, long time ago...

We've always permitted opponents to use a unit from the "Special" section of the list as one of their "Rare" choices. I'm getting ready to play a friendly game outside of my usual group, and even though it's a friendly game, I don't wanna bend any rules. I looked through the army list and mini-rulebook today, and didn't see any mention of our "Special for Rare" rule.

Am I missing it somewhere in the rules, or have we been (happily) cheating all this time?

Thanks!

Alles klar, eh, Kommissar?

You can't swap special for rare, or rare for special, or anything like that. Hope this helps

Thanks!
