Pretty slick. Are the trees glued down as well?

yeah.
The trees are mounted on 25mm and 40mm bases, this helps them stand up.

I share the trees with my regular battlefield forest bases.

Panic.

Awesome job! Would be great for a story of an invading Xenos or chaos force reaching deep into previously safe(r) Imperial worlds!

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. -- Sun-tzu
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. -- Ulysses S. Grant

Looks really good, though I'm not a fan of those kind of trees in 40k. It just doesn't feel right.

I think this looks great, especially as a "playing" terrain. Yeah you maybe could have added a bit more grass variety, but this isn't a diorama, it needs to be functional to play on. I'd like to build a similar garden, just maybe not quite as big for my table.
