Hey all,
So, for those stores/clubs taking place, the first Chapter of the Lucky 13's campaign ended today...so, I was wondering, how did it go for you guys that played?
In our local game, we had an EPIC draw, with stuff like Carnifexes taking out a Baneblade First Turn, a vortex grenade taking out those Carnifexes 2nd turn , a guy on our (Xenos) team sending down at least one bombardment per turn, a ridiculous amount of Apocalyptic Barrages, and probably the funniest Moment in the game: Last turn, a Rhino tankshocks an Ork Warboss, he then Death of Glories, and decided to use the guys Vortex Grenade for his shot, and with a direct scatter, both got killed off hilariously.
Anyone else got some stories about how the battle went?

Well for us, the bugs got obliterated by necrons (stupid pylons), a ragtag tau/chaos army stomped the orks. The orc stompa getting nailed from behind with a barbed strangler and a venom cannon taking out a baneblades main cannon (WOOT). Next Battle Ill be more prepared, time to get that endless swarm finished

Pfff, in my game, my Pylon got killed at like turn 3, and didn't do too much good...that said, I was deployed in a place where I couldn't do too much good...

He had 2 and all his immortals infront of them with 3 monoliths around that. Oh did i mention he had repair scarabs asset twice (once due to the war cell and the other he chosse), so he was almost unkillable

Lol, nice...wait, I thought you couldn't take the same asset twice?
EDIT: IF a formation gives you an asset, you CAN have more than 1 of the same asset.

Starting our campaign on the 16th. On the 9th, I was at Baltimore GD, moving around 1000 orcs and trying to burn Minas Tirith.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Was a really fun scenario. I played Nids and chose the flank mark strategic asset. Unfortunately for the opponents, they had bunched everything in their corner, not allowing much room for their tanks to move around. The Xenos won the day as essentially we were 1st turn charging with a myriad of CC fexes and ork nobs. My army took out a Reaver, Warhound and a couple of baneblades. Good times!

Ah, you're lucky: Our GW store disallows taking of "Flank March" or "Jammers" because they (and we) think they're pretty stupid assets...the only way you're allowed to have them at our GW- Apoc events is IF a formation gives you said asset.
But yeah, if was a pretty cool scenario, I can't wait to see what the next one's gonna be like

Super-heavies took out a titan. Two sides had over 37, 000 points each. We played for 8 hours that ended in a draw. Can't remember much thanks to the pub w drifted to afterwards.

Agreed on Jammers and Flank march. We don't use them at my stores. After one time of settin up a game all week, an hour putting down miniatures, and hearing "flank march" on turn 1, (because of another asset), it was enough. Having a game decided in the first turn sucks.
