Can I paint a DA army as the Consecrators and still have Belial and Term squads as troops? Because the original DA scheme I really just do nary'a like.

No problems with using other paint schemes. You can do whatever kind of successor chapter type thing that you want, as long as you use the rules from a codex.

Paint scheme in general doesn't matter rules-wise. Someone might be offended by your lack
of theme, but whatever. WYSIWYG refers to modeling so model it appropriately and use
only a single Codex and you're fine.

Honestly, all chapters have an all-terminator 1st company, the DA are just known more because their 1st company is like a different army, so they got a special codex.

If someone really got offended, they can suck it like Trebek

I'm currently painting my Consecrators Army...making my way thru the Commander at the moment...also prepping a customised Command Squad for him too
