Per Legoburner's request I snapped a few quick pictures of my Hungarians to throw up here. I apologize for the sub-par paint job, I'm not much of a painter, but I endeavor to get paint on my minis before I play with them. In retrospect the Hungarians were a poor choice because of the lack of support Battlefront's been showing them. They can make 20 campaign books for the Western Front but they can't seem to update those Axis minor powers that fought in the late war. I've played with it maybe a half-dozen times because finding opponents has been a bit of a challenge, but it was fun to paint and play with the few chances I've had. Without further ado...
The tanks. I've got 3 Panzer 38(t)s and 3 StuG F/8
The Mortar Platoon.
Heavy Weapons Platoon
One of the Infantry Platoons with the Company Commander, 2iC and objective marker.
The other Infantry Platoon
And the group shot.

Looks like a nice, balanced force. Especially great to see minor powers too. Thanks for sharing

I'm going to move this to painting and modeling so it gets more exposure.

Thanks for the kind words. This is motivating me to paint up some of the support options I have lying around for them, so look for some additions in the near future!

That's a very nice Hungarian army. The painting is simple, but it's easy to pull it off at 15mm. The basing really helps a lot, I think. A good friend of mine played Hungarians - they are really quite a solid army in Midwar. I'm sad to say I never actually pulled off a win against them. He was a really good player though. A lot of people seem to underestimate the minor Axis armies, but they can be quite deadly in the right hands (particularly Finnish and Hungarian armies, Romanians might struggle a bit more).
One easy thing that could really spice these minis up, is hitting them with a brown wash. Try it on a few. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised how much it helps the details pop, even at 15mm.
