Piercing the heavens

I gave you a 3/10.

I'll try to be constructive with the following:
What bugs me most about this model is that you painted the eyes on his face. Also, it looks like cat eyes which doesn't fit with Orks at all imo.
The grots' skin tone is too dark, they're supposed to have a much brighter and sickly green.
The metal is broing, but it's an Ork, you'll have to paint a lot of metal so that's okay.
The squig looks weird. Try washing it, everything bone-like and the cables with devlan mud. It'll work wonders.

I'll give you a 5 its alot better than what I have seen other people call good or standard. That model could definatly benefit from highlighting and washes.

A Fine Model.
Great conversion work, I was thinking of equipping my KFF with a scorcha as well, but wasn't sure if anyone equipped more just the KFF to a KFF Mek and this answers my question .
Pros: Great flames on the scorcha, cat eyes look cool, and grot bandana made me laugh.
Cons: I think grots and boys should be lighter than HQs. One way to solve this is to paint all models with a lighter hue, then add more black wash to HQs than boys and grots
Good luck with any other painting you have, and post that too!

squeaky clean teeth were fixed
eyes are much smaller now

I dont think you should care what color the eyes are of anothers model(s)
you can paint them anyway you like

they are yellow so as not to distract attention from BlOOD or CINEMATIC EFFECTS
i spent a great deal on these
if the eyes were red that would just be one more thing as yellow they stand out and so does the red

the grot well i like them dark the bright ones remind me of green smurfs, i think the bandana is funny as well

Maybe because the fluff talk about Orks having red eyes.
Anyway, when you post a picture you will get comments about what some people don't like. Did you expect nothing but praise?

What BLOOD and CINEMATIC EFFECTS are those?

Again the fluff talks about Grots having lighter skin than boyz and Bosses having darker skin.
This shouldn't prevent you in any way, shape or form from painting your models any way you damn well please. Just keep in mind that some people will comment on your choices.

I suggest you add some highlights to the Meks skin as it looks a bit "flat" to me. The same applies to the lens on the Meks head.
The reason why these two things are important, is because Orks are easily recognisable by their skin (almost iconographically), and the lens because it sticks out being a lighter colour than the rest of the model (also when looking at your model while playing its right there!).

not too bad, the skin could use more highlights and layers and the eyes are a bit dodgy, but definately a good job!

oh course i wanted peoples opinions
but im not going to say someone did a bad pait job from the colors they picked
i hace re- done parts and am happier now with the teeth

well theres no blood on this model, but the squig is red and burna fuel pack, wires
flames from burna are a cinematic effect

I'm not saying it's a bad paintjob because of your choice of colors. I'm just suggesting ways to make it look better.
Here's another thing. If you want yellow eyes, that's okay, but then you might consider painting is eye lense in antoher color and/or paint it with gloss varnish.

Denial

I have nothing constructive to add, just appreciating the crispness of the metal colors and the flow of the unit as a whole. I can't see anything that upsets the whole set up. Good Job.

Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47
