I am consistently tinkering with a late war british armoured list. I currently have 2 M10Cs but was wondering if 2 is sufficient to serve any use. I already have 2 fireflys and 8 shermans, and have already bought the 2 M10Cs so I will use them at least, but I have heard people mentioning that 2 is not enough and a fully loaded platoon of 4 is necessary to get any tactical use out of them. Has anybody had any experience either using them or coming up against them and can tell me if they think I could get away with 2 without them being rapidly executed?

Play um... You've already got um. If 2 doesn't seem like it's working add 2 more. A friend of mine runs an Airborne list with 2 M10s as his only armor. I guess you could call them bait for bazooka teams...

I still need to make my army a bit more balanced before it is ready for the tabletop. Currently 0 infantry and 0 artillery which limits my options quite a lot. I'm glad to hear that someone out there is using just 2 wolverines as well though, I think I will just stick with 2 and as you say see how it goes and get 2 more if needed. Thanks.

My regular Brit opponent always fields four. Make of that what you will. Are you planning to use the 17 pdr M10?

I was planning on using 4 with my late ware brit infantry.

Actually, wasn't really planning on doing late war brit infantry, but I got the Company box as filler in a trade and the three Shermans from the Open Fire box set...one Firefly later and I figure I might as well have a small side army to pit against my SS.
