I've got about 3000 points of Space Wolves looking forward to it. Probably get the codex, one pack each of the new models, and I should be pretty good.

I am personally hoping the Canis Wolfborn HQ choice will mean you can mount Space Wolves on...Wolves and use them as an elites choice...that would be awesome. (I think ive heard some rumours saying this is what happens)

Only thing is hopefully GW would be so kind as to make these mounted Spess Puppies plastic kits (and not individual blisters -_-)

Space Wolves were the reason I got into 40k. I sold my army and haven't given them much thought in awhile, but I'm excited to start them all over again.

I think ill go with the "stealing rules" for a legion of the damned army
or possibly to field my BA instead of the nasty piece of gak they use at the moment

I'll download it 2 days before it comes out, and then buy a GW blister or something at retail price to make up for it.

I buy each codex as they come out, so this will be another purchase.

If I get it, it would be because of fluff additions. This also was my first army in 2nd edition.

See, I'm one of those silly gitz that actually buys every codex, even if I'm not playing that army. I've found that reading my opponent's codex helps a lot............... So yeah, I'll be buying it. Altho in this case, I might actually pull out those 100+ RT-era beekiez and use them as puppies.

But no, I dont have the money to buy all the 'dexes, and the only MEQs i'm getting in the near future will be working for inquisitors. Preferably the Inferno-pistol wielding variety, but i'd take a deathwatch killteam using smurf rules if you gave me them for free...

Dumbest....Idea....Ever. Guys on powered armor riding wolves? It's like the world's fattest man trying to ride a chijuajua. Predators don't have spines designed to hold weight. I could see goblins doing this because they are slight, but Giant men in ultra heavy armor? Dumb, dumb, dumb. I'm saving up a lot of sneers for when i see doggy dogson on the table.

I'm getting it because i always enjoyed the fluff for them and might put a small force together(still looking for inspiration for half a battle companies worth of unbuilt marines)

You've never heard of Fenrisian wolves, have you?
They are to earth wolves what Space Marines are to conscripts.
A powered armor marine riding one might not be the best idea, but a scout could probably manage it.

I suspect I'll pick up the new SW codex. A buddy doesn't play anymore, and has his old 2nd ed. army sitting on a shelf here at our house. So I'm sure my roommate and I will pull it out and try a few things out for kicks. If it's fun, I may work on that after I finish my marine biker army.
