This is my gang list. Just so everyone knows: I have never played Necromunda before.

The Disgraced
A small band of Imperial soldiers that were charged with heresy. Taken to the Hive Primus to executed, they managed to escape the Imperial transport with nothing but a couple of Penknives. Taking the crews weapons, the Disgraced have made there home on Hive Primus were they will have to lie, steal and murder to get though life.

Viga
An ex-Kasrkin Sergeant that fought to protect Cadia from Chaos, he order a retreat. But the Commisars had other plans for the battle. After being shot in the leg by one of the military policemen he crawled back to HQ. There he was court mashaled and was to be executed.

Gang Leader with Combi-Melta (Meltagun and Bolt Pistol), Laspistol and Frag Grenades.

"Hot Shot"
Known for his skill with a PLasma Cannon and his short temper. He fought with the Steel Legion Artillery Battalion. The commanding Officer pushed Hotshot a little too far and ended up disapearing in a smoking crater. Taken away in chains by smirking soldiers, he was charged and tried with heresy.

Heavy with Heavy Plasma Gun.

Joe
A Valhallan sniper for 5th Battalion, E Company. He failed to take out Major of the newly-turned-traitor A Company. Some thought he deliberatly missed because of the fact that the Major turned out to be Joe's older brother.

Ganger with Lasgun.

"Drill"
Working in the tunnelling of the Tarllan bomb shelters, he threatened to kill the Commissar with his jack-hammer.

Heavy with Heavy Stubber.

Krack
Known for his love of having a good cigar. Patrolling the jungles of Catachan, he fled from his post at the side of an Orc mob.

Ganger with Shotgun (Man-stopper shells)

Firstly, you have to say which gang you are (Im assuming Van Saar)

Sorry if this sounds rude, but you are going to lose HORRIBLY with a gang like this

1. With 5 men, every other gang (except spyra/enforcers) will outnumber you heavily. Hell, your looking at 3:1 for a scavvy/juve horde gang.

2. You have 2 ganger. I would say 4 gangers are mandatory, and I'd personly never leave home without 5 in a starting gang. Without gangers (and youll probably have at least one OoA per game), you cannot gain money, so you cannot buy more stuff and replace losses. So over time, your gang will become more injured and starting losing members, and not be able to add more weapons. Your opponants will have a steady stream of fresh troops and rare items.

3. Heavy weapons are cools, but SOO expensive - you cannot afford to take 2 heavys unless its double HStubber/HStubber+HBolter - and even then, I wouldnt. Take a special instead, as they are very good, and so much more affordable.

4. Close Combat - you dont have any. It isnt mandatory by any means, but I think its wise to have at least one guy capable to taking an assault.

5. Juves - again, not needed, but make very nice meat shields to stop your heavys/leader coping the first bullet in the game. Their roll can be taken by Scummers, but they have their own drawbacks. (Im going to assume your avoiding them due to theme)

6. Back up weapons - fighters with weapons that will run out quickly (HStubber) will need back up weapons, to avoid "sitting there and looking like an idiot" syndrome.

So id say try something like this:

Viga - Leader - Meltagun, Boltpistol, Laspistol, Frags - 280
Hot Shot - Heavy - Plasma Gun - 130
Drill - Heavy - Heavy Stubber, Laspistol - 195
Joe - Ganger - Lasgun - 75
Ganger - Lasgun - 75
Krack - Ganger - Hotshot SHotgun - 75
Ganger - Manstopper Shotgun - 75
Ganger - Auto Pistol, Club - 75

Stash - 20

Gives you 5 gangers for heavy shielding, and for plenty to work terratorys. Plasma gun is better than HPG for the cost IMO, and the drop allows you to take more men. (also, how many IG use plamsa cannons?)

Hope this helps

Thank you for the great advice. I will change my list to the one recemended by you. And yes they are Van Saar.

By the way, with your question on Plasma Cannons. 'Hotshot' is ment to be all buff and thats why he can carry one.
