Hey guys. I was up at my local GW, playing a game of SM vs CSM and I one hit killed Karn the betrayer. This is not the important part, but its what happened afterwards that is important. I noticed that Karn the betrayer was VERY similar to Seargent Karn from the Horus Herasy books. My freind pointed out that not only was he the same, but that many of the charecters from the seris had apperances as playable chaacters in the chaos codex. Hateing all of the chacters that appeared there, I demaneded that I would kill ALL of them (one at a time) with my cpatian and his sterngaurd squad. So my friend(Sniperjolly) went and grabed a landing padoff another table, and we set up my men verses the chaos chaecter in oppostie corners. SM went first, followed by a chaos turn. It only lasted one turn, and it was fun shooting ten vaquisher rounds and a melta gun shot into abadon. At the end of the games, I had one hit killed Karn, killed Saul in two turn (horied rolling for Saul), and was slaughterd by Abbadon and Tyrus the nurgle lord. It was good fun, and it dosent take that long to do the fights. For about 3 matches took us 15 minutes., and we kept geting interupted. If anyone would know of rules to write for something like that, you could post them here and let others try out what I will now be calling STANDOFF.

I can't wait to buy one of these, open the box, peek at the sprues, and then put it back in the box and store it unpainted for years.

Characters in the HH series of books:

-Ezekyle (sp?) Abaddon, a.k.a. Abaddon, The Despoiler
-Fabius, Apothecary of the Emperor's Children, a.k.a. Fabius Bile
-Kharn, first Captain of the World Eaters, a.k.a. Kharn, The Betrayer
-Typhon, First captain of the Death Guard (I think...), a.k.a. Typhus, after that little incident aboard the Terminus Est
-Lucius, whacked out swordsman of the Emperor's Children, a.k.a. Lucius, The Eternal
-Ahriman, dude who screwed up a lotta stuff for the 1k sons, a.k.a. Ahriman, after screwing up all that stuff and Magnus the Red kicking him off their planet.

Saul Tarvitz isn't in the 'dex, and as far as one on one goes... well, the rules could actually boil down to being similar to necromunda, as maneuvering there has a lot more to do with the actual position of the models.... and certain Uniques kinda need to have some space to move and a chance to keep themselves out of harm's way, not all of them are CC gods like Abaddon and Typhus... some of them actually benefit from breathing room, like Ahriman and (kinda suprisingly) Lucius.

Things I've gotten other players to admit...
