Remind me again why I thought doing FJ in 15 mm would be a good idea? Its less splinter camo and more poke and pray.

Anyway, here are a few images of the command w/three mortars and the first full unit of FJ. One more full unit and a unit of pioneers to go for the infantry stands.

The only thing I would ask is why the helmets are that blue-grey color. The historical color is fieldgrau, I believe, for regular steel helmets, not sure about Fallschirmjager but they also didn't wear the steel helmets but had a different kind.

Look at their helmets, there should be a band around them that you want to paint black which helps distinguish them as Fallschirmjager, otherwise for first stands they look great. I haven't gotten to flocking mine yet as I'm waiting to do all my stands at once and have a few more to build.

I had seen somewhere that the Luftwaffe blue was used on the helmets. I'll see if I can find it again, or a better confirmation on the helmet color. Painting the helmets again woudn't be a problem.

Always good to see more painted FoW stuff here so thanks for sharing. Looks good too, but I cant help but feel the skin would benefit from a wash. What paints did you use for the skin?

skin tone was...hell, I can't rmember. Vallejo equivelent of Bronzed Flesh. I tried a wash of watered GW Dark Flesh but it didn't seem to take and watered black seemed too much.

Nice camo job on the uniforms. Have to agree on blue helmets are right for Luftwaffe, but not FJ. Skin is ok, but a wash would make them a little darker.
Weapons seemed too shiny for my taste. A darker metalic would be my choice.

Really nice job on the Camo, weapons are little bright but a black ink will take care of that.
Over all great FJ makes me want to post mine now..
Just remember on the helmets, you can see a seem on them( which means there cloth covers on the helmets) Which is either camo, or a Kakhi(sp) color.
That Just a Little FYI also the web gear is not black its brown/chestnut anotherdifference from the german army too.... but its a awesome paint job
