OK, so from what I understand, if someone kills Lucius and feels even the slightest bit of triumph about it, they turn into him and their soul is imprisoned in his armor. But what would happen if a blank (like Jurgen of the Caiphius Cain series) killed him and felt triumph? They are immune to all things warpy and daemonic, so would he be dead permanently?

Blanks have no souls, thats why they are warpfree.
I believe lucius's soul implants itself into the host and grows out from there so the absence of a soul would make it easier.

the answer would be for a heroic space marine to kill lucius in hand to hand, and then before he can transfer his body, he needs to take his own life.
I don't think any decent space marine would hesistate to do this, as long as they knew they had to.
death in duty is its own reward.

Blanks are immune to the powers of the warp. Psychic and daemonic powers don't work on or near them. Since Lucius' resurrection powers come from Slaneesh, a warp entity, wouldn't that mean that he couldn't take over a blank's body? Therefore, wouldn't he be permanently dead? That is what I am asking.

Long answer:
The fluff says that if he is killed, he will only come back if his victorious opponent feels triumph at his death. And then, his opponent will be transformed into him, while their soul will be sealed into his armor for all eternity. Slaneesh gave him this ability after his first death, noticing how much pleasure he was feeling at the time, and being unwilling to lose such a soul. His power to revive is warp-based, and therefore would not affect a blank.
Short answer:
No.

As nearly as embarassing as a land mine would be an automatized sentry gun. Or breaking his neck while falling down a trench or something like that.
Or simply dying to someone who doesn't realize he even killed him.

Hmmm... I'd like to think that a warrior as seasoned as Lucius wouldn't make a mistake as stupid as stepping on a land mine.... But these things happen. I doubt Slaanesh would let his favored pawn slip away that easily. More than likely The Dark Prince would merely implant a cultist with Lucius' soul somewhere, resulting in yet another (less satisfying) rebirth.

Well anyone who has read, Horus Rising, Fulgrim and Galaxy in Flames would know how skilled Lucius is.
He gets shot up by a load of Astartes and still able to run away after having a duel with someone.
Its not Slaanesh that gave him the power to come back its the Greater Demon which has taken over Fulgrim.
The Demon Sword which the demon was originally trapped him gives him the power after Demon Fulgrim gives it to him.

Well GK's being without emotion and all woulden't feel triumph, and killing lucius is just all in a days work. Their deeds arn't recorded or anything, maybe that's why. How about a wraith construct?
I dunno about the whole annhilating souls thing though. I mean, the killer would still have a soul, right? Then his (or her) soul would simply be transfered to lucius' armor.

This seems a bit like the sloppy rules GW writes from time to time. Someone (or Slaanesh itself) had this idea for a cool way for Lucius to come back if his killer is tainted by the feeling of triumph over taking a life...which is all good 'n proper, until one realizes that there are so many grey areas or circumstances where it is absolutely not clear what in the warp happens to Lucius and his killer.
Null-rod, Grey Knights, land mines, booby traps, artillery fire...so many things where it is hard to tell.

Oh is that so thats interesting.
He got shot up by some loyalist EC in Galaxy in flames. In the last few pages of "Fugrim" after Fulgrim was possessed, he mentions that Lucius was the only one who noticed the difference (Since the greater demon possessed him) He gave him the sword and something about it granting him enternal life.
Fulgrim is a sick, twisted book.
