Anyone ever model a transport with the exact number it can transport?

I have had the idea of grabbing 30 boys from aobr set and converting all 30 of them onto a battlewagon....Been staring at this wagon trying to figure out how in the nine hells I am going to get thirty boyz in / on / around / hanging on it.

This whole idea was caused by an interesting discussion about how transports should be bigger to actually hold the said number of objects.

If someone finds a pic of a transport holding its number in models please link. Been looking around. Figured it would be entertaining.

I thought a battlewagon only holds 20 boyz. That would still be a challenge but would be easier. You would also need to scale up the wagon to hold that many boyz. I believe the scale for 40K vehicles is smaller than the foot soldiers.

Same problem with all transports

Would result in either larger transport models (more expensive is bad) or smaller infantry (harder to paint is bad)

So my vote goes for keep the idea and current scale

The problem is the poses of the miniature. If you look at any modern APC, the troops are really crammed inside - the infantry miniatures just don't allow this.

On that subject though, someone took a bunch of the original landspeeder crew (who were in a very tight sitting pose) and got ten of them sitting inside an old rhino quite comfortably.
