These are on Forge World.

Basically I need 2 Fire Prisms to finish my mech Eldar Army list, instead of me buying 2 boring regular Fire Prisms (230 points) I could get 1 Eldar Super Heavy tank to furfil this long-range heavy fire support role. I just need to know how effective are these? I feel Type II with those 2 pulsars being the same weapons as on the Eldar Titan is probably going to be pretty devastating more than that over-sized D-cannon one.

Most importantly because I'm gonna get these to fulfill my 2000 point army list. Do these things cost over 230 points each? I just need a general point cost number because I can't field it if it costs over 300 in points for example. I know Forge World copyright etc, so I just need a response like "Yes it generally costs around that range (200 - 250)" Not telling me would probably result in me not getting it since I'll assume it'll be like 350 points+ so if you want to help FW sales please help me.

Also lastly, is there anywhere that saids precisely you cannot use any super-heavy FW models or even those Super-Heavy Imperial Guard tanks in any non-Apocalypse games? I don't think so. If I can fit one in my 2000 point list I feel I should be able to field a super-heavy.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Both of them have different roles.

The Cobra is for blasting massive targets with massive shots with indirect fire. The Scorpion is an oversized Fire Prism tank, used to zoom around smashing smaller things (but can also tackle Titan-sized targets).

Both suffer from the 'One Big Gun' Syndrome that a lot of (horribly overpriced) Super-Heavies suffer from, in that once their gun is gone, their purpose is gone and they're just expensive paper-weights.

That said, I'd pick the Scorpion if only because it's a dead sexy tank. Friend of mine has one and it's such a good looking vehicle.

They're definintely more than 300. I don't know the exact amount, but they're not cheap...

On the plus side, the Cobra is fast, and can drop a S10 Ap1 ordinance blast after moving 12". How awesome is that.

But don't get all bent out of shape if your opponent looks disdainfully upon your lack of originality while tabling you in 4 turns because he's got beating SMs down to an exact science after fighting them for hundreds of consecutive games.
