Just wondering who was the first legion founded by the Emperor?

I ask because I keep reading in some threads that say that the DA were the first founded,however, Ive heard that Horus was the first primarch found which is why the Emp loved him so much more because he had him and just him for longer. So which came first the angel or the wolf?

ohh and just wanted to know if anybody had any info on the interactions between johnson and horus did they get along? because i heard he was the second of all primarchs in victories

Both are correct. The Legions were founded from Terrans prior to their Primarchs being re-discovered and were created in order. Hence, the Dark Angels were the first Legion to be created. However, the Primarchs were not discovered in perfect order and hence Horus was found first (as his Homeworld was the closest to Terra). The other Legions fought alongside the Emperor until their Primarchs were found.

If you mean what order the Primarchs were found in, then as far as I know there is no set out order. There are implications and some are certain (Horus first, Apharius/Omegon last) but the rest are a blur of innuendo. There was a thread on the BL forum that tried to put it together, but as the forum is down at the moment I cannot link you to it.

Did you know that long ago the "official" fluff said the legion to conquer most worlds where sons of horus, then dark angels and third space wolves?

Later they decided that the ultramarines had conquered most. Obviously.

Well yea. That's because they're the Ultramarines SPEHSS MEHREENS!! And for them to be anything less than pure win and utter perfection would mean a poor choice in poster boys.

But yea. The DA were the first Legion founded. Horus was just the first Primarch to be found once the Emperor had embarked upon the Great Crusade.
