I love polling and I haven't done one in a long time. So since it's a rainy New England Fall day, I thought I'd put up a new one.

Hard plastics have taken the wargames world by storm over the last year and Wargames Factory has started four ranges of our own so far:

Might of Rome - All Things Rome and Her Enemies from 100 BC to about 200 AD - with 8 hard plastic sets to date!
Wars of Empire - Colonials starting with British and Zulus
Dark Futures - with Zombies being the first entry.
Hammer of the Gods - just launched with the Viking sampler pack, but with more Vikings and Saxons out soon.

We have several other things in the works - including many that have come out of the Liberty and Union League - our "if you vote for it, we'll make it" program - but I'm always interested to see where people's interests are.

We all know we're (wargamers) a sometimes fickle bunch drawn by the latest shiny set of rules, inspired by a book (or comic book for that matter), or salivating after watching a great movie and ready to start a new period.

What periods do you (currently!) want in hard plastic? Sorry, you can only pick one! Have fun!

Hello, welcome to Dakka! Hope to see more of you here, I know people are excited by a lot of WGF products and projects. There's a Zulu based IG army in the gallery and tons of us are waiting for the greatcoats to come.

I just voted and commented:

Moderns! The US and our allies are fighting two wars at the moment and few companies are supporting them, AFIK none in plastic.

A hummer, US infantry and Middle East insurgents are at the top of my list.

Really, I think this is the way to go.

I have to add drones and civilians though.

Civilians because most games and gamers ignore them but in this type of urgan guerilla war they are a critical part.

More Ancients
More Dark Ages
Medieval
Seven Years War/French and Indian War
American Revolution
War of the Spanish Succession/Marlburian
Napoleonic Wars
American Civil War
Franco-Prussian War
More Colonials
World War 1
World War 2
Other (comment below)

Anyway, I voted for More Medieval, but if I could choose more than one
option I'd cover all of Ancients/Dark Ages/Medieval.

(I'm not as into guns as people on this site)

Cheap Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Trolls, Giants, Gnolls and Bugbears. Units with included command, not the here and there releases like the D&D minis. Not lots of poses or pieces, just decent looking fantasy Humanoid troops for roleplay or non-GW wargames.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Beast Coast

If I had to pick one, I'd say War of 1812. There's a lot of interesting things that could be done with that period, I think.

I think I have to side with Kid Kyoto's logic here - more modern stuff including civilans.

Check out our new, fully plastic tabletop wargame - Maelstrom's Edge, made by Dakka!
