Got about 30 points left...and I am not sure if I want to remove the Champions in all units to fun another Wardancer unit..or something...any ideas?

With 30 points left, if you drop a WR Champion or two (or drop a WR), that should give you points for a Great Eagle, who will be pretty helpful.

What do you plan for the 7 strong unit?

If you go down to 6, drop a champion with the 30 points left over you can just about afford a Great Eagle and a Warbanner for one of the WR units (Warbanner is really nice for WR)

I'd suggest finding point for a noble to run with the wardancers. I found he added immensenly to the unit's killing power. You have nothing to kill creatures so i'd suggest a Treeman. Lastly, not everything needs a command section. I would keep it on the wardancers though.

The 7 strong unit is actually joined by Orion...Making them 7 will allow me to gain an extra rank thanks to Orions base size.

Base sizes have nothing to do with Rank Bonuses, unfortunately. You need 5 models for every Rank, unless a Special Rule (like that of a Slann Mage Priest) says otherwise.

well thats interesting, I assumed (incorrectly apparently) that rules like the SMP and Screaming bell applied to large bases in units, and that they "count" as what they fill....thank you for the correction!

Also, they are fast cav, so never gain Rank bonus.
