http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/SAGWgamers/?yguid=25601944 the Yahoo group SAGW gamers is for gamers of various types in San Antonio and is a good link for gaming for warhammer, 40K and various historical games. There are also some gamers playing just north in San Marcos. Go north and there is an Austin crowd (just step over the protestors du jeur) .

I do recall from my short time there, that there was a comics and games place on Broadway that had 40K gamers. They had a lot of painted Rogue Trader era models in display cases.

jfrazell and I are both from the Houston area. Although he runs off to Austin on the weekends...
I think there's also a big group of WHFB players in San Antonio.
The IRT Alamo is this weekend... I think... Lots of WHFB players from Houston is going to attend that.

Starscream actually used to run a 40k shop on the north side - that was where i got started. I'm not really into WHFB at the moment, saving money for my wedding.
I just need to find more time to make it down to central command and bust out the Ultramarines/SoBs/IG/or EC.
Sigh...
