This is not my work guys but the work of a very skilled individual at www.sciborminiatures.com . Tried to see if it had been posted before but couldn't find it, apologies if it has. Hope you find it useful.
Oh and if you guys have any of your own ideas or links for armour mods feel free to post links or whatever on here, would be great to get a mini catalogue of techniques going.

I've seen this before, but thanks. Some of that stuff there has to be CAD, though. Like the miniatures in the background in the last picture? There is just no way that that can be handmade.

Press molding is handmade, at least as scibor does it, as it is physically done by using your hand to draw the designs. It happens to be a fairly difficult process to master, and results like you see on this site are very difficult to achieve. Saying that these things were not "handmade" detracts from the fact that they are difficult designs produced by a skilled artist. If it was easy there would be a prevalence of such conversions out there, and if you are active in the hobbyist community you just don't see that.
Additionally, it is not necessarily impossible to sculpt these things by hand (clearly the GS will hold these designs if prodded correctly), just easier to press mold them.

So, he makes the mould, by HAND, then can make a bunch of copies. So what is not handmade about that?

Again, sorry, I can see someone taking the time to make one of these. I'm just saying that he doesn't mass produce each of these by hand. He uses a handmade mold, as said by tankworks.

Great! Really.. but consider the scale.
In the tut he's "rounding" the decorated plate on a bottle-cork.
Trying to do the same thing on something 10 times smaller seems to be a little harder..

You're wrong, Scibor works with a polish based company to create cad moulds for pressing greenstuff in. It's how he churns out so many conversions onto ebay so fast. You will never get as good results as Scibor using the method above, since that's not actually how he does it.
Nothing away from him though, his non GW based hand sculpted (i.e. without moulds) work though, which he casts and sells, is first class.
