For those of you who love converting 'Nids but have been hesitant to tackle the more difficult conversions due to lack of GS skill, here's a repost of a tutorial Aduro included in his Tervigon/T-Fex thread. I'm reposting it here cause it'll be lost forever otherwise.
`Nid ribs made easy in three simple steps;

1.) Smooth out the Green Stuff where you want it to go, getting the general contour and curves you want it to follow.

2.) I used the flat round edge of the GW sculpting tool (one of my favorites) to press in a series of shallow grooves following the pattern you want the ribs to follow.

3.) Use a narrow sharpish tool (I used a crochet stitch remover, another of my favorite sculpting tools) to poke a hole in inside each end of each groove. Angle the hole inwards a bit to the putty between the holes is rounded across the top.

Pretty much done, but feel free to keep poking at it if you don't like something, and if you have trouble with the Green Stuff sticking to your tools, keep a small pot of water handy to dip your tools in (sure, it's over priced, but I love the GW water pot for this because of the wide base).

Thats really neat!! Thanks!
Dad'll want to know this...

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?

Not all the 'Nids in the Codex have models and people are trying various conversions for them involving heavy duty sculpting. The technique could also be used for making Geiger style bases, 'Nid causalties, or objectives for Apoc/Cityfight.

Well, it is quite useful if you are making a Tervigon or Tyrannofexm, especially if you beef 'em up like Aduro does.

If I'm correct, the pics are taken on that wooden dowel-type thing just to make it clear. If I were to do this, I would probably do it directly on the model.

Yeah just for example in the article

Nightwatch and Dysturbed are correct. The article was done on a dowl to allow Aduro an easy place to demonstrate his technique. When Aduro did it "for reals" he plastered greenstuff directly onto the model and then poked it up from there.
