Been Around the Block

I agreed to a game with a friend where we would take no magic items, no terror causing monsters, no mages. Simulate block infantry combat in a low fantasy setting. He played empire, I had greenskins at a 2300 point level.
My deployment

his deployment

I won the die roll for turn and gave him turn one.
He moved up his white wolves up about 4 inches, the same with the archer detachment of the great swords, the knightly order moved up about 2 inches, the hellblaster moved up 4. Shooting he killed a wolf chariot, the pump wagon, the bow wolf riders, and a spear chukka on my right flank.
Animosity let the rightmost unit of spear riders advance so I was able to pull off a turn one charge with them to his handgunners and cannon crew. I advanced the checkerboard phalanx on my left flank, won combat and ran down the hand gunners, the cannon crew ran almost to the table edge.

turn 2 his cannon crew were off the table, his archers from the greatswords moved up far enough to flush the fanatics, in shooting he put 2 wounds on the boar chariot, killed a few goblins with the mortar.
My turn 2 I advanced my large wolf rider unit up enough to be just out of charge range of the knightly order. The wolf riders moved to have a rear charge if he didn't move the knights. The checkerboard phalanx continued it's implacable advance and the doom diver killed enough of a squad of free company to break them and they fled from the table. In combat the archers held with snake eyes against the goblins.

his turn 3, he charged the large wolf rider unit with his IC knights but was too far so a failed charge. His hellblaster killed my boar chariot and his mortar savaged a unit of night goblins. His cannon blew up from misfire. I broke and overran his archers and overran into his great swords.
my turn 3, I failed animosity for my large wolf unit so couldn't charge his IC knights. I charged his greatswords with my wolf chariot and advanced the phalanx with one unit of hard grots going up on the bridge to try and work toward the center of the table. He fled his archers in front of his general's unit when I tried to charge with my small wolf rider unit that hid at the start of the game behind my archer wolf riders. I won combat against the greatswords after causing 7 wounds and him causing 2 in return. He held with the stubborn and BSB combo.

His turn 4, he flanked my wolf chariot with his ww knights. He charged my wolf rider large unit. I held. his shooting killed some night goblins with the mortar. I held on the charge with my wolf riders since he couldn't overcome my 2 extra ranks and outnumber static combat advantage. I lost to the greatswords by three, but my general and bsb kept the night goblins engaged with the great swords.
My turn 4, I move my night goblin archers far enough up so that they would release their fanatics into the white wolves. I failed a rear charge with the wolf riders into the rear of the knightly order, the other wolf riders charged a detachment of free company. hard grots charged a unit of swordsmen, snotlings charged crossbowmen, and the savage orks charged handgunners. Shooting killed some more swordsmen of his general's unit. the fanatics wiped out his white wolves. In combat the large squad of wolf riders beat the knightly order, breaking them and running them down. The savage orks killed the handgunners, overrunning into his other crossbowmen. The snotlings held up the crossbowmen, and the night goblins held against the greatswords.

My opponent called the game at this point since I'd captured a banner, killed 1600 vp worth of his army while he'd only wiped out about 500 vp of mine. I had 3 table quarters and he had no way of coming back.
