Hello people,
I have been thinking about this long ago,and I am sure I will be part of it...next year
I hear both in store and on dakka that the ard boyz tornament is coming up,but I really cant join it,first I only have a crappy 1000pt army, unpainted, and I dun know where to register.
I've read the rules here on dakka, but I stiil have a few more questions
1.How much is the tornament? And where do you sign up for it?
2.How to win the prizes?
3.Does the models have to be painted?
4.When is it every year?
5.Usually how many people join?
6.Anyone have any experience in last year's aed boyz?Tell me about it!
Thanks!

1) Free. Your local store that is hosting it.
2) Be in the top 3 for performance in battles
3) No
4) Spring > Summer
5) A lot. This is a national event.
6) Read any of the 'Ard Boyz Topics.
For more info, you might want to go to GW's site.

1. Free
2. Win the tournament maybe? How else do you think it's done?
3. No, as it says in the rules.
4. Whenever GW wants to hold them.
5. Thousands
6. People showed up and played lots of 40k games, I gave them prizes, they went home, I had to clean up.
Look on the GW website for a place close to you. Bring a legal 2500 pt army. Call the store ahead of time to sign up.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Usually there are some curve balls, but objectives and kill points will both be represented, sometimes in the same mission. Ard Boyz borrowed a page from Adepticon and there are generally primary and secondary game objectives, as well as bonus tactical points.
