I live in West Virginia. I have the ability to go to three stores that are holding the Ard Boyz Prelims this weekend. One store is having them on Saturday. The other stores are holding them on Sunday. All three stores are ran by the same man. He is slowly building a great gaming community in this state. The issue that came up is that according to him GW has told him you can only sign up and play at one of his stores. Are you only allowed to play in one event this weekend? I see all the stories of people going to multiple ones to make sure people from other stores dont make it. I am not that nefarious. I just wanted to get a chance at the prizes

If you play at more than one store you are possibly denying someone else the opportunity to play in the semi finals while you yourself have already gained a berth.

I understand that point of view. I dont think I would win anyways. I always thought if you didnt go you could let the person behind you in standings have your spot.

You can let someone else go if you decide not to.

Yes they do but often stores won't mention this in hope of drawing more players.

eh... If you're not keeping someone else out and there is a chance you can play in a 2nd... i say by all means play... but don't claim the prize or place.

And if for some reason you DO win at both... give the prize away to a local kid that could use the models

I would say that as long as you’re not denying someone else a chance, then it’s okay. If you’ve already played in one, and the second one you go to is full, with people waiting to get in, the sportsmanlike thing to do is let one of them play. If you’ve already won a spot in the Semis, and win another, you should absolutely pass on one of your spots.
