So after getting a look at the missions for ard boyz, I was debating what would do the best.

I would like to hear what others think, but...

I feel like an ork horde led by at least one squad of nob bikers could really dominate everything.
Not only are they a decently competitive army. But they also fit all the missions perfectly. You have a ton of troops and for the third mission, your massive army is going to give up less than 20 kill points most likely.

So do you think these missions benefit this army?
Or what other armies get the biggest boost from these missions?

Last night me and my buddy played the first mission with the no-mans-land deployment. He had obliterators/termicide CSM and i ran my Monster Farm w/ Swarmlord and 3 Tervigons, 2 Trygons, 2 Fexes, and then a bunch of gaunts to round it all out.

At the end of turn 5 I had him 4-0 on objectives (spawning gaunts to hold objectives after flushing out the enemy is nice), but got greedy and took some of my termagants off of an objective to help a tervigon against some plague marines. At the end of 6 it stood 3-0, with one objective being contested.

My synopsis? Objective matches are where the new 'nid book shines. My worries? the 2nd scenario that awards VPs (my MC's aren't cheap anymore) and the all-out slugfest that is the third misson (granted, popping a couple transports will help me out).

I expect to see orks in a lot of top 'ard boyz finishers. They have been around longer than the 'nid book so people have taken the time to figure them out, plus it's a very competitive army in my opinion.

Been out of the game for awhile, trying to find time to get back into it.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

Strange as this may sound, I think that a mostly static Tau list will do well - Tau are quite capable of tabling, and it would quite depend on the first game's draw - but game 2 and 3 they will be in an advantageous position.

That's the mission I worry about is getting the damn good IG player on.

I adjusted my list last night tho, dropping 1 sniper rifle off PF and cutting one Kroot unit into two. will out flank both of them in mission one, to grab objectives in late game. Going to sit at 27 kill points in the 3rd mission, not too bad.
