The Conquerer

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

played against 2 people today. one was running German armor and another guy ran Soviet tanks against my armored company.

My list from Cobra

US 2nd Division(Confidant Veteran)

Headquarters
2 M4A1 Shermans and 105mm Sherman

Tank platoon
5 M4A1 Shermans with Hedge cutters
Tank Platoon
5 M4A1(76mm) Shermans
5 Stuarts
Armored rifle platoon with 2 rifle squads
Armored Recon platoon(1 patrol)
Armored Field artillery battery(1 gun section)
Field Artillery battery(2 gun sections)

Their Lists

German

HQ Panther
Panther Platoon with Barkmen
2 Jagdpanzers with 8.8 guns
3 Konigstigers

Soviet(wasn't legal, but we simply designated a T-35 as his command tank)
3 T-35 tanks
3 T-34 tanks
2 KV-5s

we played a simple 2 objective game with the longtable edges as the deployment zones.

River down the entire length with 3 crossings(center left was a ford, center and right were bridges) there were 3 forests down the center as well as 4 bunkers evenly distributed on both sides.

My artillery was ineffective aside from smoke(i either missed or failed to range in with all bombardments)

My 76s went on my right flank accross from his Jagdpanzers and the T-35s and 34s. my normal shermans and infantry were in the center opposite the KV-5s, Barkmen and the 3 King tigers. Artillery was center and right.

My 76s killed the 2 Jagdpanzers in the first 2 rounds and advanced over the bridge killing his 3 T-34s in the next round. infantry advanced over the central bridge to try and take on the KV-5s. in the end only 4 Bazooka teams made it through the combined germen/soviet fire and they just bailed a KV-5 before getting cut down.

his King Tigers crossed the ford and 1 began to snipe my Priests one by one(who had been joined by the 105mm shermen) the others were going after my objective which was near my 105 battery in the center.

Barkmen rolled over to deal with my 76s, but only killed one even with rerolls. the 76s then killed the T-35s and forced company morale which was automatically failed winning me the game as if one company on a side flees the entire force does so.
