Yeah! I live on Ellsworth and Brown. It's easier for me to get to Gamers' Inn, but I can make it to Empire Games sometimes as well

i know there are a bunch of people at Imperial Outpost in Phoenix wed-sat if you ever want to drive up there .People play at Empire and Gamers inn which are a little closer to mesa.

I know when I am in Arizona, I always drop by Blackmoor's house for gaming. He always has people over playing 40K. He has tons of room for gaming and his refrigerator is always stocked. Give him a pm for info.

hey guys im new in AZ, phoenix area, not sure if its old news to ya but iv been told an actual games workshop store is opening up in June in the Scottsdale area if anyone is in the area. Looking forward to it myself hopefully close for more than just me!

Er, not sure if this an appropriate thread to bring back, but as a fairly new AZ gamer, I'd be happy to find more than just pickup games out here.

I visit my parents a couple of times a year (live in Goodyear) I would be down to bring my Salamanders next time.

Goodyear's a bit far from my part of Phoenix (I'm over in Mesa, opposite side of the Metro area...), but sure, hit me up when you're in town, we could probably meet up at one of the stores either on that side, or over here.

sounds good I have no problem driving over to mesa, hasport & fullrace are over that way, I need to get some stuff for my Integra so I'll be over there at least 2 days I'm there .

We only lived in AZ for a year but it was a great place for war gaming, for the most part.

Stores near you are Games U in Gilbert, Games Workshop in Scottsdale, North Valley Games in Phoenix, and Baxter's in Queen Creek.

I'm pretty sure there is something in Tempe and I /thought/ something in Mesa. I don't make it down that way though.

Game Depot is in Mesa on McClintock and Southern. I don't game there, but I give them my money pretty regularly.

Something just opened up around the corner from me. It is on McClintock and Ray in Chandler. Southeast corner between a Scuba shop and a Crossfit gym. Don't know the name and they are still setting up but they are selling merchandise.

I just looked them up, they're called Desert Sky Games.

Games Depot is probably going to be the better option, given that he'll be taking the 10 across the city this way. Cutting over on the 60 will take him straight to Southern and McClintock, Ray and McClintock is about 3 miles south of the 60, vs half a mile north to Southern.

There’s also Athoria Games in Mesa.

I am relatively new to the Phoenix area (East side, by Scottsdale) and am wondering about y’all’s favorite venues for games and the like. I know it’ll be some time before games start happening but there’s a few models I was looking to buy and I would rather support a local hobby shop than some internet discount store or GW directly. Heaven knows they must be struggling.
