Necromunda has taken up at my FLGS. While I for sure want to make a gang. I can't help but think it would be AWESOME to play as Chaos Cultists.

I haven't found anything on the GW site but I know there can be Inquisitors and arbites so why not Chaos Cultists?

I've sold so many armies. :(

ah yes. You are not the only one with the desire to play Chaos cultists. GW doesn't publish rules for them, but there are certain fan made rule sets, just search them on the net.

Your opponents have to agree if you want to play a fan made gang though.

Just play as cawdor, as all the gangs start out pretty faceless but you put your own touches to them to make them your gang. Should turn out okay.

A chaos cultist squad would make sense in a Hive as the Imperium is always under threat.

Check ebay for an old copy of the Outlanders rulebook supplement for Necromunda. Go to page 108 and you'll be a happy ganger.

GW used to have the rules in PDF but I see they have taken it down and printed a new hardcopy.

It's worth noting that the rules in Outlanders for Deviant Scum are simply enemies that can be fought against in campaigns, and not rules for creating a gang of Chaos cultists. It doesn't mean they can't be adapted around the stats and rules given in the Outlanders book, but I think it's important to point that out when also advising someone to buy the Outlanders book.

Edit: Here are some house rules for a Chaos cultist gang written by Anthony Case. It looks fairly solid, although I personally would have seen a distinction between Cultists and Mutants, rather than mutations simply being an upgrade for gangers. That's primarily just a modeling concern for me personally, however.

You can never beat your first time. The second generation is shinier, stronger, faster and superior in every regard save one, and it's an unfair criticism to level, but it simply can't be as original. - Andy Chambers, on the evolution of Games Workshop games

There are official rules for cultist gangs. It was in Gang War #2. As it happens I have the PDF of it. If i chop out the rest of the issue i'm sure it would be small enough to email. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Nottingham (yay!)

We now have a free to download Necromunda Chaos Cult rules set.

I must say, these rules look a lot more fun than Kill Team’s anaemia offering.

Anyone want to start the ball rolling who’s already got some games in from the WD article?

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
