Hello folks

Since there is so many GW here i think it time to show some Privateer products

This is my try on the Retribution battle box as i found it on the forums. I airbrushed the white from the top on a grey base and first time wet blended the blue. The result is not to bad for my first warmachine minis i think.
Please ignore the basing i was trying to get some snow covered bases for my planned snow covered terrain. But getting the snow right is so damn hard that i decided to not use it anymore. As soon as i figure out how to make bases from white metal i will redo them.

enjoy!

(dunno what happend here but the image seems to look blurry in the gallery if you zoom everything gets sharp again...)

I like the patterns on them. Very cool.

You could upload the individual pics. Dakka hosting is the best.

The white looks very clean and smooth and the blending on the blue is well done. You know what that would look good on? A space marine! Just kidding. Nice work.

Looks pretty good even though I'm not a big fan of the retribution aesthetic (menoth fan here)

The look good, but I think you should show some individual shots!

Like Kenshin620, I'm not a huge fan of the Ret aesthetics either, but I like the shade of blue that you're using better than the shade PP does all their stuff in. Post some individual shots, please, so we can get a better look.

One small suggestion about your base rings. They are currently white, and the majority of your figure is white as well. This makes them look, unfinished. You might try another color (black works best on WM figs IMHO) and see if that polishes the figures some.

BTW, nice job

Nice - thanks for posting the individual pics. They look even better in those than in the first ones. Good stuff.

Very nice and smooth whites and blending. Makes me want to go out and pick up an airbrush (and learn how to use it correctly). Good to see some other ranges as well, thanks for sharing.

Try painting the base ring black before you change everything, that might really change how you feel about the base as a whole.

You should definatly do that. It took me some while before i could handle it and almost wasted 10 mini on it (got a little to excited). But it is definatly worth it, right now im just waiting for christmas to get me that new brush with even finer lining and better handling and so on.

I will try to get me some bases from white metal (as soon as i figure out how to make them). I dunno how that looks naturally but i hope the metal look looks good without any paint :p .

Yeah, tell me about it

I really like these. Very smooth, very clean. I'm pretty sure I couldn't make such large, smooth areas look good. Well done!
