I thought this is the first version of Durthu Citadel released, but on trawling Stuff of Legends (http://www.solegends.com/marauder/mb14treemen.htm) it turns out to be a Marauder Treeman sculpted by Aly & Trish Morrison. Painted to go with the Wood Elf sorceress I did for Golden Demon. Total time taken around 7 hours, including basework.

Your painting is fantastic, but the model looks awkwardly posed to me, as if it's about to fall over.

That is a really beautiful miniature.

And your paint job is fantastic.

I believe that is a marauder treeman (Durthu came later and got his own model). It is by far and away a better model than the the current treeman mini. I love the peeling bark around the legs.

Oh and a really stunning paint job too

Very nice paint job. I have the same model I use him in my Halfling Blood Bowl team. Yours however is a long way better looking than mine

Very nice! I have one of this guy, and two of the (barely) smaller old metal treeman with his arms down. I just recently rebased them on 40mm to be a particularly beefy unit of Treekin.

Nice paintjob obviously. The basing is especially nice. I agree that the pose is sort of akward. It would be great to have 2 of these giving each other high five.

Edit: I guess that would be a high "four"
