Love the old stuff. I was at a GW this weekend that had some space crusade in the display case. This game has a sense of history to it, and I love being reminded of it.

WOW, who makes those figs?

...

Just kidding! I remember those, I had some too, long ago!

I have often wondered if metal minis will one day be a thing of the past!

Cool!

(Really nice backgrounds on those! Good job!)

Thanks! I painted the planets myself, the others are pages from a book on astronomy.
I wouldn't be suprised if games workshop gave up on metal but for smaller companies I think its still cheaper to use metal. Its so low tech you can pretty much do it in your kitchen

Yea, a friend of mine use to make 2 part molds from room temperature vulcanizing rubber RTV and had bought an electric smelt you could plug into the wall and melt bar solder with from a jewelry supply! resin tech has come a ways since then, but I know that still doable. A centrifuge was what he always wanted, I think it's called a spincaster, but I wax OT.

Cool metal models, I really enjoyed the Necromunda games in those days, combat patrol, pfft.

I like your style, dude. It's cool that they're even painted in the old 'Eavy Metal styles from the time, but I'm guessing you've had these guys painted for quite a while

Check out my Youtube channel!

Oh no no these are brand new painted this year - but the paints I'm using are 15 years old...
