Well now that the Holidays are close to being over I am ready to start over once more.
I am panning on having an IEGA Wargamers Meet at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 15th at my Place. I can supply Coffee and Drinks. Mostly we will de discussing what we are going to do for the next year. We will just have a 2000 Point Bring and Battle Warhammer 40k game and discuses what we are going to do over the next year.

I've been looking to get back into WHFB and 40k (Also Warmachine/Hordes) and am looking to meet a group of pseudo-mature gamers near Rancho Cucamonga. I used to play a lot at Dark Forrest when I was a teen with my buddies (quite a long time ago if you remember that store.)
Looking to find a group that gets together pretty regularly but is casual, hopefully a group that likes coffee and/or beer
There used to be a loose-knit group of GW players a long time ago, but I don't know what happened to any of them, or if they meet behind closed doors somewhere now.
Any word on where I should go to meet table top players near me?

If you got wheels try GMI games or the Adventures Guild, but the Guild has kind of dumped playing any Games Workshop games of late its all Flames of War or RPG...Ampu's house plays almost every week Wh40k Fantasy, Battletech, D&D and several other games. Works for me.....

Thanks for the reply. (Sorry for the delay on my part, apparently I didn't check the notify me by email update' box at the bottom.)
I just checked a youtube video of Adventure's guild, that store looks like exactly what I'm looking for in terms of an inviting fun place to play.
I don't mind playing non-GW games, but I don't know the first thing about Flames of War. I suppose I could go down and see if it's something that tickles my fancy. I'm sure any new gaming system would be fun to learn though, hopefully just not too expensive.
Part of the wanting to play the GW/Privateer stuff is that I have a few armies and miss playing them and feel like to have armies and have only played a few games with them seems like a waste. So I'm trying to flesh out that side of the hobby.
Thanks again,
Ken
