I have a good 20 AOBR Termies laying around, that I can convert to have different weapon, but I want to know peoples opinion on my Wolf Guard Scheme. This is my first time painting any Space Puppy so be kind please!

Thanks.

Looks like a pretty good start!

The grey looks nice. You'll get better results with the yellow if you paint Iyanden Darksun or a brown underneath your yellow. Painting it straight over black like that is always going to give that nasty streaky look unless you put down several coats.

Also, people are going to tell you to drill out the barrels on the SB.

Thank you, I know, I didn't have a foundation on hand, I'll be putting more coats on the yellow, and putting shining gold on the Terminator Emblems.

As for drilling out the holes of the bolters, I have no hand drill but once I get my magnets for these guys I will.

The work isnt half bad. It is definately an acceptable table top quality. I try to always commend people who at the very least make the effort to paint their figs. You have accomplished that and more. The highlighting looks pretty nice, it could be cleaned up a little. I really like the color scheme though. Great work

Thanks Element, I appreciate it, as for the highlighting, it seems to be getting cleaner as I go on, I finished another one last night, and hopefully will be taking a trip to my FLGS soon to pick up some paint, and maybe a box of Wolf Guard.

I'll post more pictures once I get a few more done.

Good scheme, especially since space wolves are hard to pant (i've gone through about 5 different schemes on mine, and i haven't even decided on one yet)

Try watering down a dark grey and use as a wash on the armour.

Great start! Some more suggestions:
Wash the stormbolter in thinned black (lots iof water, little black- try 1:10 paint to water). You may also want to paint the housing (IE the non barrel part of the gun) in a solid color to make it look more finished. A wash on the arm power cables will also help.
Drill those barrels!
Hit your details- the belt crux, purity seals, knee crux, etc.
