So I jumped on the bandwagon and painted up some dark eldar and had the first free time Ive had in three weeks to photograph these today.

Got to love 21 credits a semester and a full time job...

Anyhow. Amazing models and for the first time since I can remember I want to do minimal converting as they are just so nice on there own....who would have thought.

Onto the Fluff (Someone forgive me if they've seen this name before) I just thought it was cool.

DE Scavenging party transporting slaves Back to Commandragh (mis spelled you get the point) scavenging metal, and other gear from their foes as trophies. The idea behind the paint scheme was they had enslaved an imperial mining gak, and built the hulls of their reavers, and skyboards with leftover imperial naval parts.

Im going to be adding a few more squads, as well as characters, and command hopefully sometime this year.....school and god willing. Also need to finish snow on the bases but I ran out after the wracks so......

Excellent work. I really like the look of the green rod used in the weapon hafts, especially the stunclaw.

The random exposed breasts on the wyches seem kind of unnecessary, but they're your models, not mine.

Are the three-wracks-on-one-base supposed to be a grotesque?

For the wracks That was the original idea hahaha....but I've been playing with a few other options.....we shall see what becomes of those... The worse thing someone can say when playing me is no and if they dont want to play over something that trivial well...

In regards to the Exposed Boobs.....unecessary yes, fun to paint yes, distracting yes.....some people may not like it but hey what can you do....I love the female form.

I like the darker take on the Dark Eldar you've chosen (so to speak). Less anime, more gothic horror. Good job - and the wracks are great.

Those Wracks are very awesome. Rust effects are just great! Not a fan of the colored rods, though. Just my tastes.
