Firstly, I'd like to apologize for the quality of the pics. I'm hoping to get a portable booth ordered soon.

Dread: I glossed the talons and lenses, I don't really know how I feel about them right now. I may go back to a matte on them.

Libby: Blade was done using the lightning tutorial over in the painting and modeling forum. He's a hybrid of a Dark Angel and a Sanguinary Guard.

I always gloss my lenses as it gives them natural highlights from the reflections off the room lights. Not sure about the claws. Excellent work on the sword. You did a lot better with your first attempt off the tutorial than I did with mine.

Great work on both figs. Have you considered some edge highlighting on the dread to make it pop a little bit?

I did the grey on black edge highlights. I'm going to do the red as well, I am being very cautious as I've just about brought the dread to the limits of my painting skill and don't want to take that little shuffle that pushes it into over done.

Thanks for the feed back.

You did a great job on them. I know what you mean about pushing the limits, but some times you have to do that to take that next step as a painter. Either way... those are both figures to be proud of.

Nice force weapon dude... I glanced over at that tut and immediately discarded it as too hard for me Kudos to you on pulling it off, and very well at that
To me, it looks as if the dread could do with a wash or two, bring out the shading and all that (If you have and it's just the pictures, please beat me down )
Keep up the great work!
