Not really the most amazing painter here but not to shabby at times. I bought mini's for my pathfinder group and painted all but 2. Those 2 wanted to paint them themselves. I guess they forgot how hard it can be sometimes. Well after globbing 30 different colors on it and not really liking it they gave the to me to finish. By finish i mean spray black and start over.

let me know what you guys think.

Oh after I took the photos i noticed a few things to touch up.

Looking nice!

Great for a rescue job, the green cloth is especially eye catching.

thanks. Personally I dont like the swords to much. I like realistic looking colors but he loved the look of fire and ice. He has one sword that deals fire damage and one that deals ice damage so he requested it. Look at the pictures now they seem rough and I might smooth some things out.

I was a little proud of the cloth.

Nice save! I also like the green. Try washing the fire sword with some red to help smooth out the brushstrokes some. I like Pathfinder a LOT! but no players around here. :(

Those look great!

Better than anything I've painted, and I didn't have your disadvantage!

Will throw a wash on them tonight Kathie and see how they come out.

Its always amazing that i think things look good and then i take a picture, blow it up three times the side and go "meh, looks bad".

Great work! One thing though, perhaps thin down your paint.. it looks really thick

If you can't beat 'em... join 'em. If they won't let you, well then you're screwed.

You know i have been constantly painting with thinner and thinner paints. Maybe i just have to keep pushing the paints thinner.

Very good job! As previously stated... nice job on the green and I like the two different colors on the swords... somehow it helps give motion to the figure. Doppler effect perhaps? ;-)

(sorry, I live in the upper midwest and with spring coming when I see red & blue on something that's spinning I start to get worried)
