Hey guys! I've been on a real-life induced break from the hobby, which was a bummer. I've gotten back into some old projects; most major of which is the fledgling Space Sharks army. These guys are certainly not my best painting work. I'm going for more of a quick and dirty feel on them. But I still think they look neat. Right now I've only got pictures of some scouts and tactical marines, but I want to get the characters and terminators I spent some more time on up too. Oh yeah, these bases aren't done either. Anyways, here they are!

First off, some tacticals.

And here's the scouts. I literally JUST finished some of these, and haven't even with the heavy bolter guy as you can tell.

So yeah there they are. Let me know what you guys think! I'm considering starting up one of them P and M blogs to document the progress.

The face of the captain is very very good , maybe we can have some closeups? The visors are brilliant also.

the pig iron heads look cool, but the space marine head on the scout body just really messes it up for me. I also think you should work on your highlights(?).

Looks really good. Blacklining is a little thick but still nice detail.

Hey guys thanks for all the responses! In regards to the marine helmet on the scout, it was an attempt to mark out the sergeant, something like he's already earned the right to wear power armor so he'd have it or something. I hear you though, and am not apposed to changing it. I have plenty of Pig Iron heads left. You think that would look better? It would certainly make him fit the squad a bit better.

And the blacklining... it's wash. It's not nearly that bold, the flash brought it out a lot. I'd prefer to not use flash, but I have poor lighting.

Your scouts are awesome! The visor color compliments the grey well. I havent seen ANYONE do the space sharks chapter before....very original! Nice work!
