Cool, what model is that? or is it scratch built?

Sihamoni takes great pride in the league he helped create, as was conveyed in his recent advertising campaign for the CMFL that stated his midgets will "... take on anything; man, beast, or machine."

Looks good, but it still needs a lot more Orkification, as right now it still just looks like an A-10 with an Ork pilot.

beyond throwing some glyphs on it..........i could paint on checkerboard pattern (which i am not fond of)

FW's fighta bomma.......looks similar in that it looks like a bandaged up plane........which is what i have.........on the tail wings i have the Evil Sunz logo

any suggestions that like the FW piece that doesnt hinder flight i would be very game on trying

You really should add some ramshackle armor plates, glyphes, and orky weapons to truly orkify it.

This statement is your very first mistake.
Remember that the entire theme of Ork tech is that, by the looks of it, it JUST SHOULD NOT WORK!
You really need to throw out any notion of that, and just run with the truly ramshackle, crazy, over the top
theme that Orks have. If you don't, you should be kustomizting a different army.
Ork modeling is, in my opinion, the most fun modeling in the game and if you try to get all slick and sleek with it,
you're missing out on the whole point.
Here is a supurb example of an Ork Fighta Bomma.

I'd try something simple to start - like painting the missiles and engines different colours.

Ahhhhh i have to so disagree

first one example of the orks is ramshacle to the point that you wonder how it even works.......but thats more old school........look at the original trukks..........with the new stuff they have gone more to a society thats coming into its own and becoming more advanced

take the blood axes for instance........using camouflage.......there are too schools of thought......so stupid they make camouflage in colors that might only hide them if standing next to a circus tent...........or camouflage but dont totally understand that not all camouflage patterns work everywhere.......(ex. urban cam's in a jungle)

really if you think about it its an army of forrest gump's

again i agree needs a little something else.........but extreme changes like in that pic......no thats too much..........i like the look of the model before he did all that to it

I'd say that the first thing you should do is paint a big, toothy grin on the nose. Like so:

Orks have and always will be about taking things too far. If you think something is "Too Orky" then you need to make it a little more orky than that before it is done.

Right now it looks like a 40k ork in a historical model. A little bit of plasticard and some time and creativity and it would totally fit with the army.

Correct. Despite countless millennia of evolution, technological advances and civilization, we're still monkeys throwing feces at things we don't like.-Zed.
