Finally got the squad painted. I'm happy with how the servitors came out, the inquisitor on the other hand isn't great. Also made a new objective marker with a wounded guardsmen next to some chaos lookin book. I intend on using the squad to count as a company command squad with carapace armor. The cyber mastif would be a bodyguard. The inquisitor would have a plasma pistol, powerfist and meltabombs. Oh yah and the servitors are magnetized so I can still use them as normal servitors in case I ever run a techpriest enginseer.

Sweet stuff ! I really like the servants ! And the inquisitor is pretty cool aswell tbh...

My only critic would be the green paint on the bases.

Those servitors are awesome, consider the scheme copied for my repaints!

I normally don't like green bases edges either, but for this scheme I think it really works. It makes them pop much more; if they had dull-colored base edges the whole figure would just be too one-note.

You said you weren't happy with the Inquisitor- any particular feature you're unhappy with? The only thing which popped out at all to me is the Fist. I like it, and I really like the blue highlighting on it, but then I noticed that the black on his head, boots, and other arm all have the same highlighting. I think if you switched the highlighting elsewhere to a more grey/less blue highlight, and/or brightened up the blue on the powerfist slightly, it'd be distinguished more and the mini as a whole would look nicer.

I love the head of the inquisitor. Gives off a great sense of cyberpunk. Where did you get the dog though?

lol finally someone likes my green bases

I tend to play mostly on battlemats so they mesh really well on those, here's my guard with similar basing.




I think it's the green of his vest and inner jacket that I don't like, I'm considering repainting it to match with the first and the head. I've also though about keeping the green and repainting the fist the same way, catachan with camo breen highlight.

Count as company command squad for guard but I may run them as henchmen plus inquisitor when the grey knights codex comes out.

It's the medic head from the catachan command squad box. It's gotta be my fav GW plastic head, very versatile. I used the same one for my marbo.
