Can Tau in the same squad as the Markerlighting model use Markerlight counters? Can Kroot use Markerlight counters? These questions are based on the page shown in the eBay auction mentioned in News.
1 - Not unless its a networked markerlight 2 - No. It says Tau units and Vespids with alive strain leader. If it allow Kroot units (which are not Tau) I'd assume it would have added kroot into the list.

This is correct. Exactly the same as if you have a unit with some models in cover and some not. If the models not in cover die to the first shots from a unit, the remaining shots from the same unit treat the target as in cover.
