I painted some Raveners for my friend. What do you think. I had to paint the bases black cause' it was primed white for the yellow.

I you should done a t least a little bit of highlights on the yellow. It looks like you just painted those yellow and then washed them. Other then that everything looks pretty solid to me, nice work

You really got the yellow to be...yellow, which can be a hard thing to do, so kudos for doing that. I think perhaps a little more weathering on the carapace, but that is just me.

They don't really have a bug feel to me, something about black skin or flesh just doesn't do it for me. Nice yellow though.

They look nice but some highlighting/dry brushing would make them really stand out.

rofl i think it may have been the point...

put some brown in there and they will be over the top but atm they look awesome.

Yeah I am actually painting my friends whole army, it is like 2500 points so I am speed-painting it. The scheme is supposed to be really simple that's why there is no highlighting or dry-brushing, but I usually would. Thanks for the comments .
