I did up a couple of models to test out the scheme I am planning on for my whole army, so they are a bit rough, I just wanted to see how they would look.
Thoughts and opinions on the color scheme?

i like it! But one thing: invest in some washes and highlights! they can reaally make a model pop

If you can't beat 'em... join 'em. If they won't let you, well then you're screwed.

Lol I will most assuredly be using washes, these are just two test models barely cleaned up. I just wanted to make sure the scheme worked before really starting to paint.

classic marine chapter, with some style.

this might sound off, but, i see that scheme and think USF bulls. (green and gold). good stuff though, and i'd like to see the finished product.

I did have another question. These are primed in black, I was wondering if I would be better off doing them in white.

Also red eyes vs. blue eyes, I can't decide.

Prime one white and paint it up with blue eyes

Also, upload your images to Dakka so they can be bigger

IMHO, since you have lighter colors & your green is rather neutral instead of dark green (such as Dark Angels), go ahead & prime white.

And go for blue eyes. Too many marines are painted with red eyes. Would look good with the yellow helmets.
