First up is my highly pyro-centric platoon command squad:

These beauties are a personal favourite of mine. I never leave home without my Russes.

Here are the planes:

And some more infantry!

Some Chimera shots!

I paid a pretty penny for these kits, but man were they worth it. Behold! The Hydras!

And some bird's eye shots to show off the board:

My company command squad.

I JUST finished painting this guy an hour ago.

And here's the Company Commander. This guy has put wounds on Tervigons with his las pistol. The last time he did it, I decided I had to find a 28mm scale desert eagle and model it on him, and from then on refer to him only as Bullet Tooth Tony (for anyone who understands this Snatch reference, I applaud you).

And here is my buddy John's VERY impressive snow board. This will see action tomorrow as well:

Whew! I hoep you enjoy lookin' at those as much as I enjoyed posting them. I do battle tomorrow against Space Wolves, Tyranids and Tau! All comments welcome!

Awesome post. Your army and your terrain looks amazing, I personally saved the Bastion for when I paint mine.

Have a Fortress of Redemption by any chance?

Nice neat painting. Your tank camo is more interesting than most too. Boards look great fun to play on.

Unfortunately I do NOT have a Fortress of Redemption, but I'd love to get my hands on one. As for the Bastion, if you want to get that same textured look, you have to use this GW spray called Roughcoat (they sell it next to their primer). When you dry brush your highlights on there, it looks absolutely amazing. I use it on all of my tanks as well.

I'm not ENTIRELY sure which picture you're talking about, but it's probably my veterans. Those heads with the respirators are from Forge World. They sell some nice upgrade packs if you want to make some of your infantry stand out.

Looks good, my only question is if you are going to paint the Cadians in their traditional camo scheme, why wouldn't you also paint the tanks in their traditional scheme?

Best part is Bullet Tooth Tony, the sad part is that means he has to get shot with his own pistol.

Attention all space marine bashing neckbeards: Nobody cares what you have to say, so stop trying and go cry yourself to sleep.

Ehhhhhhh, I would have painted their armour green anyway, and I couldn't think of anything to go better with it than tan so... yeah. That and I didn't want to just have everything look like it came right out of the codex.

Yeah, I'm not very good at painting infantry. The skin looks like that from a properly over-generous amount of the Ogryn Flesh wash.

Most of the terrain you see on that board I bought from this website: http://www.amera.co.uk/product.php?range=z

Their terrain is vacuform so if you're not into that, you may not like it. They're great for a gamer on a budget though. I'd also recommend mounting their ktis on masonite as it adds a lot to their stability.
