Well I've been toying with the idea of a competative Slaanesh CSM infantry list. Basic idea is an Emperors Children army with 0 tanks, and loads of fearless marines.  I made this list fairly quickly after glancing at a marine book for the first time, so I am sure it is rife with things that can be improved. Anyways, heres the list I was considering:

Lord + Darkblade + Bolt Pistol + Deamonic Mount + other deamonic gifts to pump him to 130 pts.  I don't see the slaanesh steeds getting a lot of play, but it would be a great model to include in the army. Is the reason because he starts off the table in escalation (the preferred type of play with this army)?

6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster
6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster
6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster
6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster
6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster
6 Marines + MoS + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 4 Sonic blasters + Blastmaster

6 Havoks + MoS + Infiltrate + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 2 Sonic blasters + 3 Blastmasters
6 Havoks + MoS + Infiltrate + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 2 Sonic blasters + 3 Blastmasters
6 Havoks + MoS + Infiltrate + Free Champion + Power weapon + Bolt pistol + 2 Sonic blasters + 3 Blastmasters

So the list boils down to:
55 fearless marines, 15 Blastmasters, 30 Sonic blasters, 9 Champions, 1 Lord, 1699 points (or close enough)

I had a few issues with the list:
1) Can the Blastmasters reliably deal with vehicles threats? I like my odds against Falcons, but LR crusaders get more play around here. Secondly, what options do I have for dealing with Crusaders and Monoliths?
2) Does the list have enough firepower to put down or deal with Godzilla nids? We dont always play escalation around here, probably only 25% of the time. I like the bulletcount, but it lacks AP2 weaponry, and even AP3 weaponry.
3) Do I have enough close combat punch? The lord was low on wargear, as I made him last, and none of the champions have Daemonic Strength. Would it be worth dropping one of the troop CSM units to get a bit more wargear? I wouldnt mind upgrading to a KoS either, if its worth it.
4) Should all of the units have Infiltrate, or is that a waste of points? (I cant remember if it is even an option for non-Alpha Legion)
5) The army is slow. I can't move 18" to aid an assault that is going poorly, except with the lord. I dont need to move much, but having the option is certainly handy. Would it be worth including some mounted daemonettes to counteract this problem?

I would use 2 x 12 man squads and 2 x 6 man squads in this army, for the simple reason that you then will have a little more leeway before they start taking your AC/blastmasters.

Take at least one or two squads with powerfists. As is, your army will be nuked into oblivion by any monster army with high toughness guys (even wraithlords will pose you a big problem).

The slaaneshi foot troops are good, but their demons are also fantastic.

In order of questions:

1) With 15 str 8 shots, you should be able to handle most vehicles. The problem is land raiders and monoliths, both of which you can largely ignore - concentrate on killing their troops. Necrons you're only ever going to beat with phase out anyway.

2) No. Never in a million years. Buy some bigger squads, demons, and powerfists if you want to stand a chance.

3) Not really. Too many sonic blasters where bolt pistols would have done just fine - cheap fearless I5 troopers is one of the great things about Slaanesh. You made'em expensive and sucky at close combat.

4) You can, but it's not worth it if you're going to be playing any alpha games. Take it on your key squads and use it to position them perfectly. Let the rest hoof it, imho.

5) Get some daemons or mounted daemonettes or bikers. Slaanesh bikers are stellar. Your lack of any speed is going to hurt you, and bad.

By the way, I realize Slaaneshi are I5. That's great. But S4 power weapons with 3 attacks are not devastating enough. If you're gonna leave them without fists, buy mutation and strength.
