This will be event based Si/Fi and alternative time line RP. The first fact that you should know is history has change in epic proportions.
Brief History lesson: The civil war in America was a Confederate victory and with the defeat of the unionist so did the northern democratic government. Lincoln creates a military coup and take over the north creating a false democracy where only respectable officers within the military can vote for the new president which is now the High War Minister. The North American Union or N.A.U. does not involve itself in many political affairs with Europe or the Confederate Union States of America or C.U.S.A. World War one was a German victory but immediately after the Tsar of Russia, the communist revolution never happen, strikes with a surprise attack prompting Germany into a very similar economic situation as our timeline. Hitler rises to power nonetheless but with less devotion to the destruction of the impure races. WW2 had many different changes. N.A.U. had taken several chunks out of Canada in recent years and taken Alaska by force from the Russians but was ignored for the European war theater while C.U.S.A. has created a puppet state out of Mexico and has deeply allied itself with France and England. Germany has its original allies but has secretly allied itself with N.A.U. 1942 C.U.S.A. begins a full out invasion plan to repulse Germany back within its borders. Over ninety percent of C.U.S.A. military is overseas and is attack by N.A.U. and is quickly overrun and conquered. With news of their homeland taken over the C.U.S.A. troops begin to desert the European fields for the boats headed back home so they can retake their country. Almost none make it back due to highly successful blockade by N.A.U. but N.A.U. never sends support troops to its Axis allies so WW2 is waged until 1972 Where Germany finally was defeated not by the nearly destroyed Allies but by the betrayal of N.A.U. by then is known as the Empire of Northern America. which quickly conquers the war lands and nearly all of Europe and a great some of Africa and Asia. The empire never puts in any government policies or puts in place any military command posts in the newly conquered land. After several years of confusion and tense situations the people of all the conquer nations bring back their government systems and live status quo as if the Emprie never won since the Empire itself never had or tried to in-place influence or its government in Europe, Africa, and Asia. 2029 The Empire has acquire all of South and central america and is now the Empire of America or the High Imperium of America. 2031: The Imperium brings several armies to its previous conquer nations demanding the amount of years tax from each nation. The collection of previously defeated nations which has rebuilt refuse and create WW3.

This game will take place in Russia around the border of Finland in the year of 2037.
Imperium
The government in terms of government style is closest to Nazi Germany with a taste of Rome, they believe their dictators and leaders are gods in human form. The world isn't aware of the highly advance technological progress the Imperium has involved itself in. Think small Mechs around size of a single story house with the fire power of two tanks and an anti aircraft armor and cyber suits to some of its more skilled soldiers. The regular uniform is uniquely plastic and cloth mixture that is as effective as kevlar but half as light and twice as flexible, With a gasmask/cybermask that gives night vision, thermo goggles, and tactical and satellite vision, Think like a HUD that you can see.
The Collective
The government system is representative democracy of each nation bringing a representative who votes on the behalf of their country. Each nation will bring a different prospective of war. But the regular uniform is similar to todays armor but with exo-skeleton, not human size mech armor, and a gas mask.
The Kingdom of the Lotus
A monarchy in Indo-china which was spared from being taken over by America, They believe that as long as the royal family is alive then America can never take them over. It is almost a utopia by how much peace and how well its economy is doing. Its technology is nearly the same level as America and has been helping the Collective with engineering new defenses against the American military.

The history is just a brief summary, I will make it more understandable and easier to follow later, And the pics are good cept for helmet wear but yeah pretty much.

The kingdom of the Lotus was created during the vietnam years(no veitnam war) by a group proclaiming a divine right and using several cults created a army take over Thailand. Fear of the Americans rise and praise for the family grew so several nations including china decided maybe this family did have some divine ruling since they kept on getting territory and the Americans were just ignoring them. Australia decided that it was too far away to join the collective so it joined the lotus.

that sounds a bit far-fethced to get the Indian sub-continent, but it might work.

also, what's the economy and general training of each place like?

Well if your nation was next to a massive empire that is taking over the globe would you go to the neighbors down the road to get some help or the people across the street

The American Economy is nearly communistic in terms of ratio of money equality, the current culture of the American people isn't quite evil at all in fact its one of the nicest places to live because crime is almost non existent and the government's socialized business policies allows the government to assume direct control of a company to avoid any economic disruptions. The Imperium is split into different sections. Each section is in charge of certain aspects of the economy. the Homeland creates weapons and sells it to the military (practically the government but it is almost a separate company as well.) While South America sells practical goods ,Electronics and furniture, to all the other sections, Europe division is medical development and computer upgrades, and Africa and asia sectors is just spawling farm land. These sections sell their products to one another kinda like how countries sell their products to another.
The Collective has almost no economy any more. It is in complete and total war meaning almost all the civilians work in factories and they get minimum of want they need to live. But they sell specialized data system to the Lotus for weapons.
The Lotus is a traditional economy with families staying in the same type of work as the generation before them. But due to this upgrades in their computers are quite slow but thanks to their Russian and European allies this is cured by a trade for mass produce armor and weaponry for data systems.

My avatar is a Helghast soldier and kinda make the two red eyes into a more of a line like view and make it slightly wider then yeah. My sig is a Chimera from resistance so no not at all.

Global warming is going on a more progressive rate but no overall changes. The environmental status of the North America is just a massive city after massive city, almost all plant and animal life that isn't agriculture is in Canada. Mexico is just a mass of oil drills and weapon testing sites. South America has more rain forest then we have due to aeral bombing with bombs full of plant seeds ect and ect that quickly regrows the native jungles. Africa has been Terraform so that it can provide the food needs of majority of the Imperium and Europe is pretty much the same with alot of war wear and tear. the environment for the Lotus Kingdom is exactly the same as it is here. and Russia is near europe is wasteland battlefields but otherwise the same. Middle east is the same as well.
