After I put together my second tank for the Boyz, I got the idea to try a Deathskull list to see if having 3 pie plate tossers might help give the boyz an edge in living to get to the other side of the board.  Plus I figure it'll help out a ton with killin the other guys a bit before getting there.

So here we go:

HQ
Warboss (Goes w/ Trukk Boyz)
3+/5+ saves, PK, Choppa, Iron Gob
121 Points

Painboss - 4+/5+ Saves, Slugga, PK
9 Cyborks, Trukk, Red Paint, Riggers
221 Points

Troops
6 Lootas, Mortar - 70 Points
6 Lootas, Mortar - 70 Points
20 Grots, Slaver, Squighound, Rokkit  - 88 Points
20 Slugga Boyz, 3 Rokkits, Nob, PK, Iron Gob - 237 Points

Fast Attack
9 Trukk Boyz, Burna, Nob, PK, Iron Gob, Red Paint, Riggers - 164 Points
1 Rokkit Buggy, Red Paint, Riggers - 45 Points
1 Rokkit Buggy, Red Paint, Riggers - 45 Points

Heavy Support
Basalisk, Indirect Fire, Riggers - 127 Points
Leman Russ, Heavy Bolter, Riggers, Red Paint - 150 Points
Leman Russ Demolisher, Heavy Bolter, Riggers, Red Paint - 160 Points

I actually quite like the list. Mortars are your best bet 4 sure as troops.
I really do think you are light on the numbers but when you're running this type of list there really isn't anyway I can see you being able to get more troops in effectively.
Only thing I can think of is giving Nob a slugga or choppa to go with his PK.
I'd like to see another trukk boyz mob but that would mean dropping 20 Orks and getting 20 more Grots which might start being cheesy.
Either that or get Warboss trukk on his own as 3 on a flank means 1 might make it there.

This is a good list. I do something very similar with blood axes.

Here are my suggestions.
HQ
Your HQ looks good.
I personally dont run my Warboss with a PK. While the PK rocks, he loses his mighy I of a 4. As far as Orks are concerned, hes damn quick. On the charge that doubles to an 8! Now thats TV worth watching.
Its a good idea to stick him with the trukka's.

You have to run cyborks. No way around it.
Could you lose the PK on the painboss? I find hes fairly fragile, and gets killed first.
The other big challange you will find with that trukk is that cyborks are not trukk boys. When the trukk goes boom (and it will) you will have to take wounds on a 4+. With only that 5+ save, it can be very painful to pluck off those T5 mobs.

Troops
Thats a good use of lootas. Could you give them any extra morters and make a volley? That would be fun to model!

I personally dont run grots, but they have their value. They are great for giving an armor save to your boys.

I would try and split your slugga's into two 10 ork squads. This lets you double your # of nobs, doubles your 'eavy weapons, and gives you an extra scoring unit. Now, this means that one of the units will break fairly quickly, and then they will mob up into the other unit.

Fast Attack
The trukk boys look great.
If you need to scrouge that extra 10 points, take off the grots and red paint from the rockkit trucks.
They are already very fast (12") with a 24" range. That can cover most of the board. When your opponet is blasting at them, laugh as you pluck them off. While he is blasting those he is not blasting your tanks.

Heavy Support
I find that the 3 tanks is the best way I can bring my orks up to par with the other lists. Some people will call you 'beardy' or 'cheezy' when your dropping 3 templates on them, but it will really help you tons.
Read very carefully new ordanance template rules. Check to see if you still need LOS for them. You may be able to save 25 points on your bassie.

Finally, these are my own thoughts. Take em with a grain of salt.

Played against Sisters of Battle and against a Thousands Sons army with this and it did exceptionally well, though I feel bad about throwing 3 pie plates at a Thousands Sons army.

Still quite nice though, seems to work very well.

Why don't you just play guard?  You have practically no orcs in this list!

Very constructive advice there. I'm sure he'll use it well.

I don't remember reading anywhere in the Ork codex saying you need X number of orks to qualify.

I tend to agree with labmouse42. Warboss with PK should only be used when he's running on his own and only then I do that when he's in mega armour and can hold up a flank on his own long enough 4 the boyz to arrive. When he's with trukk boyz he should be hitting hard first turn and as such using his Choppa so the 25 points can be a bit of a waste.
What I don't agree with though is breaking the 1 ork mob up into 2. You don't have the points for the extra heavy weapons or to outfit a Nob with a PK. You're better off trying to hide them on a flank shielded by the Grotz and hope he is lacking fire power on that flank. Also you can't exactly rely on the Orkz to mob up which will waste an entire 150 point squad.

Painboss shouldn't have PK. If anything I'd use the Cyborks on foot just to be bullet catchers due to lack of numbers because they do get hurt when they're trukk gets blown up. Yet they are awesome in hth compared to normal boyz so it's sort of a catch 22. If you got enough trukks to shield them then that's great but I can't see them making it there in 1 piece.

Here's how I see the PK on the Boss.  It's 25 points, there isn't much else I'd do with that 25 points in this army, and on top of that, he has a PK and a choppa, so when I charge I can Waaagh and go at I8 with the S5 choppa, or if I know what he's in B2B will be around by I1 then it's PK time.

This is why I like having both, because having the S10 PK running around with 6 Attacks on the charge is a very good thing to have around. I charged him at IC's galore who would out I him almost every time and eventually all it takes is that one failed Inv save to instant kill someone mean or if he's charging a Monolith or the Landraider, it's quite handy to put the hurt on a lot of things, thus spending the points to get the choice has been worth it IMO.

That and he's modeled with a PK and a Choppa, and honestly do you REALLY want to argue with this guy?</a?>

With 20 Slugga boyz in this army I can name 1 thing you could do with those 25 points.
But yeah I know where you're coming from. I guess it's better to be caught with it then caught without it.
My only point is when the Warboss hits with 6 S5 choppa attacks, 8 boyz then a PK Nob there should be much left next turn but hey if it works 4 you then stick with it.
