Hi guys!
Its been a long time... I just need some help on this topic, I am looking for the perfect gamming table for my small apartment now, I have seen some plastic foldable tables that are perfect, but the only ones out there are 72" x 30" (loosing 18" on the short edge which is a lot!!) does anybody knows of a foldable plastic table that stands for the reglamentary 4' x 6' (48" x 72") for warhammer games or something close to it?
Please help me out!
Thanks

I don't, but you could always get 3x 2'x4' sheets of plywood to set on top of that 72"x30" folding board.
That's what I put on my dining room table (plus a drop cloth to prevent scratching).

You can make a 3 part folding table top out of pink foam. Glue 3 sheets of 1 inch pink foam & use duct tap to bind the edges and make the hinge. Its surprising strong and should do well for playing on - just don't lean on the edges hanging over the folding table.

I have 2 of these
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-6-Foot-Long-Center-Fold-Table-White/13269097?findingMethod=rr
They're 2.5 deep, so you end up with more like 5x6 in the end, but it fits my ROB board real good, and I can use the extra room for dead/reserve models and stuff. They fold down to 3x2.5 and I just stick em in the back of a closet or under the bed when I'm not using em.

Unless your playing with a mat or other soft playing surface the 30x72 shouldn't be a problem. My friend has a 36x72 and uses 3 MDF boards that are 2'x4', and overhang isn't a problem. We just smaller side tables or TV trays to deploy our armies from and move our casualties to.

This.
Although mine is 3 sheets of 15mm mdf instead of ply.
Although I do have a folding plastic blow moulded table (1800x750 which folds to 900x750) as well.

I was able to get some 2'x4' plastic folding tables at wall mart for about $12.00 each. I just put them together 2 for Warmachine (4'x4') three for war hammer (4'x6').

I think these are what my FLGS uses and they are great just like Necros says.
Two smaller tables are much easier to store in a closet than one big one.

Its pretty difficult to find 4 foot wide tables... as they aren't functional for much except warhammer
Foam boards or wood planks overtop the tables fix the issues generally

Doh! You're right. Mine is MDF, not plywood. 1/2", I think. Maybe 5/8"... I forget.

Whatever you're planning to use this table for sounds like fun. Are you searching for something a little more square? A lot of these folding tables are too long for what it sounds like you're wanting to do. I was looking through this site below. Couldn't imagine they wouldn't have something along what you're looking for. I think they even offer some kind of board game tables...

I use one of these. Not sure if they're originally from the UK or Europe which probably doesn't help you. However they are 6'×4'.

Probably best to start a new thread on this rather than continue one from 2013.
