Yo! This year is the year i cracked and started reading up on Warhammer 40k. Surely wasn't soon after me and a friend went to the local shop and caught them on a busy day. I asked around on suggestions for what to pick up since i was starting, one of the guys playing was nice enough to point out perks on GK and suggested what i should pick up to start, A box of knights and terminators later, i was reading around my codex and trying to play against my friend. Skip forward about two months: I dropped the GK after i saw that my friends didnt want to play since they're just a tad bit over powered. I ended up going Necrons and so far just painting them is a blast. My local shop really likes to push 2k point armys so im building/finishing my set up. While i was there i was told about Dakka and what wonders it would have for me. So far ive learned so much about just painting and basing that i never would have thought of, ive seen plenty of amazing pieces of art in the gallery, and ive even had a couple successful trades in the swap shop. It took me awhile to post one of these introductions but i caved in this morning and did it.

Im happy to be here and to be learning all these amazing tips from everyone. Thanks Dakka Community, you guys are pretty cool.
