It is not a competitive looking list, but I intend to do my best. All around thoughts on it?

*180 -(1) Overlord; Phaeron, Warscythe, Tac Arrow Res Orb
**-Lord, Warscythe, Res Orb - 75
****-Cryptek, HoDespair, Staff VoD - 60
***-Cryptek, HoDestruction, Eldritch, Solar Pulse - 60
*-Cryptek, HoEternity, Chrometron - 40
100 - (1) Illuminor Szveras - 100
*260 - (20) Warriors
**130 - (10) Warriors
***130 - (10) Warriors
****170 - (10) Immortals

200 -(5) Destroyers

90 -(1) Annihilation Barge

I hope my list is clear. The astericks designate who joins what.
The idea is my Overlord joins the big block with the HoEternity Cryptek, providing a nonstop phalanx w/ rerolls.
The HoDespair jumps with the Immortals.
The HoDestruction does the stereotypical thing.
Szveras is such a cool model, and his upgrade thing would be chanced on the big block, then he'd join whoever and look cool.
Destroyers buzz around being hard to ignore.
The barge does not blow up my own guys.

Interesting. Something to consider is that Anrakyr (I think it is Anrakyr - not near my codex at the moment) will upgrade your immortals to Pyrrihan Eternals (for FREE). You will also get Mind in the Machine which may help.

I assume the Immortals are tesla if you are going to be VoD them around.

Agree with the Anrakyr suggestion. Stick him and Szeras in a unit of 10 tesla Immortals and you have a pretty decent deathstar (might want to include a ResOrb Lord with them, too, as you'll be wanting to keep those guys alive as long as possible).
If you did go for this route, I'd break up the Warriors into even blocks and attach a Harbinger of Destruction to each one.
The final touch?
A Triarch Stalker.
(reason being, he'll twin link your army... with 5 or 6 Eldritch Lances, 5 Destroyers, 10 Tesla Carbines, AND a Tac Arrow, do you have any idea how much your guns will thank you if they get to reroll their missed to-hit dice?)
... plus, you know, he's a Walker, so he's technically on foot (thus keeping with your "Necron 1.5K foot" theme)

I like the suggestion for Anrakyr, as it would free up 15 points and give me two special rules - BUT, he is not a Phaeron, which is crucial to my idea of the big warrior block pressing on shooting at full range...
The stalker is growing on me, but I think i'll not include in 1500 points, but def. 1750, that is until I read enough battle reports that force me otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestions, keep em coming.

In my experience, any Overlord not carrying a Warscythe and riding around in a Command Barge is a wasted HQ slot... but that's just me.
...
and hundreds of other people.

I appreciate the advice on the CCB, but aside from my opinion that it's a really aesthetically tacky concept (the barge itself), I think my foot-OL has a little more survivability and benefit to my lists style.

On that note, the stalker is really growing on me after seeing the model in real life the other day - would any of you suggest two within this list, and also what load out would be most appropriate?

Haven't played Necrons yet as I am in the process of getting them, but am considering the Stalker. My thought was to get the twin-linked Gauss Cannon and use the Stalker as a target designator for the rest of the army. As skoffs has pointed out, re-rolls are good. With twin-linked Gauss Cannon, you've good odds on hitting the desired target, whereupon it is in for a world of hurt from the rest of the army.

No Ghost Arks because they break theme? Otherwise, two Ghost Arks (each with 5 Warriors) to keep the big warrior block topped off, then to make a late game objective grab would strengthen your list.

Yeah Ancestral, the arks would spoil what I was going for (I was one of those 3 monolith twerps back in the day, so the allure to spam cron' vehicles is very tempting..)
