Since my Dark Eldar are pretty built up, figured I'd start expanding on my Blood Angels. Pretty simple idea here, lots of assault marines, elite sanguinary guard, some Tac marine/Dread fire support.

Main thing I'm worried about, is AT. I have 2 Lascannons, a Missile Launcher, a few Meltaguns, and PFs to deal with mech, but is that to light?

Here is my list, any comments appreciated!

HQ
1 Commander Dante
-- 225pts

1 Mephiston
-- 250pts

Elites
2 Sanguinary Priests w/ Jump Packs, Power Swords
-- 180pts

Troops
5 Sanguinary Guard w/ Power Fist x1, Chapter Banner
-- 240pts

10 Tactical Squad w/ Meltagun, Lascannon
-- Razorback w/ Lascannon, TL Plasmagun, Extra Armor, HK Missile, Dozer Blade
-- 305pts

10 Assault Marines w/ Meltagun x2, Power Fist
-- 240pts

10 Assault Marines w/ Flamer x2, Power Fist
-- 225pts

10 Assault Marines w/ Flamer x2, Power Weapon
-- 215pts

Heavy Support
Dreadnought w/ Missile Launcher, Assault Cannon
-- 120pts

TOTAL: 2000pts

Plan is to combat squad the Tac Marines, Meltagun and Sergeant go in the Razorback. Priest goes with a Assault Squad, Dante goes with Sanguinary Guard. Unfortunately the Dreadnoughts weapons are glued on.

Also at my disposal is a Predator w/ TL Lascannon and Heavy Bolters(built this way back in the day before I knew to go single-purpose with units).

10x Assault Marines + 2 MG + PF should be 235 pts

If you are running DoA, Turn1 your Razorback, Dread, and Mephiston are the only things on the table. These will take a beating.

Mephiston can be more difficult to run in DoA since it is harder to hide him in cover while he advances.

Think about adding a squad of Honor Guard (4x melta or 4x plasma) and have Dante Deep Strike with them. If you want some long range support and Turn 1 fire, consider adding a 2-3 Devastator squads.

For trade space, first start with the your Tac squad and Dreadnought. Hope this helps!

Sorry forgot to add the sergeant's Melta Bombs, I'll fix that.

What about sometimes deploying everything on the board and then Deep Striking when needed? It's still kind of a DOA list, as they can do it if the mission requires it, so they're still kind of specialized.

And yeah, Mephiston is the sort of curve ball for me in this list, will definitely look at an honor guard or something for him.

Will also look at Devastators. What do you guys suggest is the best loadout for Devastators, as I've never used them before. I would imagine you would want to suit them all for one purpose(anti-infantry OR anti-tank). But for Anti-tank: Missile Launchers and Lascannons?

Thanks,

Donavan

Nothing wrong with deploying on the board. I'm just one of those who finds small distinctions between DoA and Jumper lists...but the cores are still the same. If you are running it Jumper style (all deployed), you are going to want to have a Librarian for Shield.

Also for Devs, ML's can do it all. I run one squad with 3xML and 1xLas. I'd recommend costing them out with 4x ML and if you have extra points to upgrade to a LasCannon (and would rather have it over meltabombs or whatever) then go for it.

I run a very hybrid DoA
Libby
Reclsiarch
2 furioso's in drop pods
And 2 sanguinary priests

3 10 man ass squads w/ pf and 2 melts guns (one in drop pod)
5 man death co w/pf and drop pod
Death company dread in drop pod

I feel the dreads do way more dmg output for the points than sanguinary guard. I feel dev's don't belong in these type of lists because they will die very quickly without anything else on the board

HereticWolf@ I like your list. Been a long time since I saw a Blood Angel army with a unique look to it.

Kudos to you for originality
